Critical Incident Briefing

All ELC, SAC and registered childminding services are required to have a service level Critical Incident Plan as outlined in the Tusla Quality and Regulatory Framework (QRF) and the National Quality Guidelines for School Age Childcare Services.

Employers must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety, health and welfare at work of their employees, under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.

This training will support ELC, SAC and registered childminding services to understand regulatory and legal responsibilities, to consider and plan for possible actions before an emergency happens and will support appropriate and professional responses should a critical incident occur.

  • Educators and TUSLA registered Childminders withinwill be prioritised (If this criteria does not apply to you, your booking may be cancelled)
