Taking place over two evenings Monday 21st and Wednesday 23rd of October at 6:30pm to 9.30pm both evenings.

The Always Children First Foundation training aims to create an awareness of Child Protection and Welfare issues in the Early Years sector. The aim of the training is to help participants understand how to safeguard children and report Child Protection and Welfare concerns.

This is a six hour programme – this programme is facilitated by trainers from Cavan CCC.

A prerequisite of attending this training is that participants have completed the Tusla E Learning Children First Programme (within the last 12 months) and the Tusla Mandated Persons E learning. (The Mandated Person e-learning is a new requirement from 2024). CCC’s will ask that participants send a copy of their certs to the CCC prior to attending the training.
